Scatter plot
Each point is one observation placed by two measurements, which reveals correlation, clusters and outliers. Choose it when both axes are numbers; keep to two or three series so the colors stay distinct.
Two groups of observations
Points are (x, y) tuples. Both axes are numeric, so XAxisTicks and YAxisTicks set the spacing of each.
A fitted trend line
A second series with two points, drawn as a line by a ScatterSeriesDisplayOverride, shows a least-squares fit computed in C#.
